Searching in Mexico City for a professional corporate photo studio was a luxury reserved only for executives looking for business headshots. However, the business community’s requirements have raised the standards, and it is now a necessity for anyone to have a professionally captured image like these in my portfolio.
Corporate photo studios are an essential asset to companies of all sizes, especially those that lack the real estate to accommodate a full-scale mobile studio. A representative of QBE Insurance had requested the studio images in this article for commercial uses and business promos.

Of course, fast forward a couple of months, QBE had updated their website with one of the photos I took of their employee. I couldn’t have left this detail out, as it brings me great pride and it is a selling point for anyone searching for a corporate photographer in Mexico City.
The only sensible thing to do is to thank Mary again for her very detailed contact. Long story short, I learned after discussing with J*** that his office(he works for Paramount) doesn’t have the space needed to install the tools needed to fulfill the requirements.
After I sent her a quote with all the costs for her requirements, she made the downpayment, and we agreed with the local employee to schedule the portrait session in my home-based corporate photo studio.
There is no studio photographer in Mexico City or beyond who does not at least consider his work a form of art. Sometimes, the needs of business clients have nothing in common with what is traditionally called art. As you can see above, the client needed a few highly technical studio images, requiring a white background and cutouts for the final images. The images were saved as PNG files (that have a transparent background) with a custom preformatted file name, ready to be used to complete the artwork the company needed.
Running a corporate photo studio service is always about the client’s needs. Art is left aside, and the crafted images must be technically sound. Of course, my utmost purpose is to outbest myself with every new shoot.
After the studio session was completed, I sent the client a PDF with the proofs so they could choose the images they needed. After the art director had chosen their favorites, I prepared the images and sent them to the photography editor to make the cutouts. The client never asked, but I took more photos of their employee to make him happy about his time in front of the camera, especially because it was for the first time for him to be part of a studio photography session. Of course, the “official” images are not included in this article.
