As a professional photographer based in Mexico City, I get inquiries for studio headshots from individuals and companies alike. This is whether for newly established or expanding companies, or simply for individuals who want a professional studio headshot–see here my portfolio to improve their online image.
A better-looking presence on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn profiles could potentially bring new opportunities, establish new connections, or simply make you stand out from the crowd. Whatever the intent, I’m here in Polanco to craft the best headshots you’ve ever had. No time to visit my home studio? That is no problem. I can visit your company’s headquarters.
Let’s work together to craft your studio headshots
The reality is that I receive most of the inquiries for studio headshots through this very website you’re surfing now. Once in a while, the Facebook page also brings some clients. Just like this shoot for this great-looking individual. He was direct and on point:
Can I avail of headshot services just for myself?
The good thing is that Facebook is set for an automatic, friendly reply:
Hello. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me. I’ve received your message, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Kindly ensure that you provide me with all the necessary information concerning your photography requirements.
My website contains extensive information on all the photography services I currently offer in Mexico City or Polanco(based on availability), along with information about me.
After a few message exchanges regarding the costs, he was interested to know about other details regarding post-processing:
A: …The photos can be processed right? So no need for a hair and make up artist?
Re: Hi Christian! I apologize for not replying in time. There are some Facebook issues I’m dealing with at the moment due to which I haven’t seen messages/replies from several clients.
I process the headshots but don’t do digital makeup and hair styling.
Digital hair styling and makeup are done by professional editors, and that may prove costly, as it’s taxed by the photo. Usually goes up as in hundreds of $( from 3.500 Mex$/photo). It would be cheaper to hire Hair & MUA at your expense rather than paying for individual photos to be retouched at this level. It may take up to 4 hours per photo.
However, you can see below the type of editing I do. For your reference, the client below has some red skin conditions that he wanted me to edit.
After answering a few more questions, such as what color to choose for the background (obviously, black was the only option!), where to park, and other small but important details about the upcoming studio headshots session, we set a date and time.
It was clear that he needed the headshot for personal branding. After the shoot, I prepared a PDF with the studio headshots sample images and sent it over (let’s name him Christian 😉 ) to Christian to choose his favorites. As expected, it was a little overwhelming to choose from so many great-looking images and reasons to step in and help.
Yes its overwhelming, can you choose for me and i’ll see if I’m ok with it?
Since this headshot session rewarded me with one of the best reviews I received with hard work, I can’t leave it out!
Lastly, but equally importantly, I have prepared the images, including square-format images, for seamless integration on platforms like LinkedIn. Of course, I always deliver files optimized for online use and ready for print — those large images of studio headshots with millions of pixels that make viewing on a 5 K screen an immersive experience.
