I met this family during their daughter’s baptism at Parroquia de San Agustín de Polanco. On the day of the event, their daughter was a little cranky; after all, who wouldn’t have it on such an important day? Long story short, we cut short the shooting as soon as the ceremony was over, agreeing to a mini session instead on another day that would be less demanding for their baby.

Book Your Mini Family Portrait Session
There are many reasons why a mini family portrait session is needed. Sometimes, there is a lack of time in a fast-paced life, or, in this case, a crying baby. No one wants professional photographs of their crying baby. Most mothers will have plenty of snapshots on their phones.
Creating a family portrait for a couple with a young baby is far from easy. Planning the mini-session at a time when the baby is well-fed and rested can be tricky, especially because their biological clock changes and adapts from one day to another. As a professional family photographer based in Mexico City, I have the patience to adapt to the family and child’s needs.
Even though this was a mini session of a maximum of 30 minutes, it took enough time to have the baby hungry. We took a short break, enough for the baby to have time to empty a bottle of milk. After that, we resumed the shoot. Bonding with the family was easy for me because my daughter is only 3 years old.
