Professional Corporate Headshots in CDMX | Featured on Huawei
Russ, a partner at LAB.Ph contacted me to schedule a corporate headshot session in my home-based studio in CDMX. The cherry on top was having some of these corporate headshots featured prominently on Huawei’s website.
Although the purpose of the shoot was clear from the beginning, seeing my photos used in an article posted by a large corporation like Huawei made me excited and happy. Creating these edgy headshots and portraits was an absolute joy, especially because Russ and I know each other from another corporate shoot at Amber Ph.

Corporate Studio Headshots to be featured on Huawei’s website? YES, please!
This screenshot shows Huawei’s website featuring their partner, Russ Malangen, who is a partner at LAB.Ph. I captured these images as a professional studio photographer in Mexico City. Huawei selected two of my corporate headshots and portraits, showcasing my work as a renowned corporate photographer based in Polanco.
As a professional photographer, helping clients receive the corporate photographs they need for their activities is a very satisfying job. Of course, it is not every day I get to see my images published, but when it happens, it feels like winning the lottery. It is well-deserved recognition and appreciation that came after years of hard work, self-education, and countless hours trying to make things stand out.
After receiving Russ’s inquiry for the headshot session, we arranged for a morning shoot, ensuring he was well rested and ready to throw smiles for about an hour. If you think that it is an easy job, try smiling for more than a few minutes. Of course, he had the chance to drink a sip of water, and we chatted through the shoot to ensure he got to relax in between shots. Jokes and tales were said to help him smile more naturally.
Coaching Russ during the shoot was a breeze. He is a natural in front of the camera, and his good looks are only superseded by his kind soul.
You can bet it was both a pleasure and a joy to take his portraits and headshots. Look at that smile!
Combining smiling faces with serious ones helped ensure that Russ would have an array of photos to choose from, all by himself. Of course, I can always choose the images I like the most, but we all know that we see ourselves through different perspectives.
