I am a corporate events photographer in Tokyo available for hire. Shooting events, be it private or corporate, is since long a very distinctive photography genre I love. I also shoot portraits for families or singles visiting or living in Japan.
My story wouldn’t be quite complete if I only consider my life as a photographer. It feels almost like a lifetime ago since people would have called me a “corporatist.” You know the type, white shirt, black tie, black or grey suit, black shoes.
Wearing a suit was my second nature, and it felt good. Can you blame me? After all, I was working in the baking system, the one that’s present everywhere, and nobody truly understands it. I remember those times with great joy, and I’m grateful for all the things I have learned, for all the experiences I have been through while working with the corporate world. I know some people feel intimidated by men and women in suits but fear no more: regardless of the clothing worn, we are all people.
Working in a corporate environment makes me a better corporate events photographer in Tokyo because I have a deeper understanding of this photography genre. And I absolutely love it!

From working for a corporation to being a corporate events photographer in Tokyo
I remember that during my years in this corporate world, it wasn’t a job without significant events, and let me tell you, I have witnessed one of the biggest of this century, hopefully: The Big 2008 Financial Crisis. Oh boy, what a disaster: closing down businesses, factories, people left without jobs or lost their houses. Luckily now is 2019, and all is left behind and settle down.

A long way had been in front of me since my black tie adventure. I have had the chance to be able to study The Complete Course in Professional Photography (and, of course, the documentaries and videos of the most known two universities, YouTube and Google) of New York Institute of Photography -the oldest photography school in the world.
Years later, I am freelancing, being a portrait, family, and corporate events photographer in Tokyo. Here I live together with my family–my wife, and our little dog Yorkshire Terrier, whom we call Tzitzy. My dog is also the reason I have started to develop my skills for pet photography in the first place. Read here more about that.

I remember when I had to photograph the first event for a real estate company. The speaker (which, by the way, was terrific) was talking about how to make smart investments by first creating market research to support a very well structured business plan.
I remember I had an internal debate about how to implement all the information I could hear into my photography, or more specifically, how to market myself as a corporate events photographer in Tokyo. I should probably mention that most of the data didn’t apply to my photography business profile, but one could dream, right? 🙂

I had a fantastic time taking all these portraits during the event. I have photographed different events from press conferences to Gala Dinner held by the Swedish Embassy in Seoul.

Because I’m a relentless and perfectionist photographer, I am always seeking for the best photographs for my clients, be it a corporate event that takes place in an exquisite venue or a couple’s photoshoot in the park. Remember, after all, that CEO is a loving father and a husband after hours, and I’m more than delighted to photograph his family as well.
