Adult Portraits (solo)

For me, as a Tokyo professional portrait photographer, taking your adult portraits is of utmost importance. I am always trying to portray YOU, the real you, and I do it, so you look shinier than ever. Portrait photography is, at the same time, an art and a historical proof of your likeness. Don’t waste precious time and book your session today!

Why should we have our adulthood documented with beautiful solo adult portraits?

Nowadays, we tend to forget about ourselves and never get those professional adult portraits; that’s why portrait photography exists. It is a reminder for us to document how brave and beautiful we are! And to preserve the likeness of ourselves for generations to come.

Life spinning around us, and hiring a professional portrait photographer to take our portraits is undoubtedly, not a priority. The truth is, it should be. Most of us deem extremely important to document our children’s childhood, and at the same time, we need decades to book a shoot to celebrate our adulthood.

According to Wikipedia, the definition of portrait photography is:

Portrait photography or portraiture in photography is a photograph of a person or group of people that captures the personality of the subject by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses. A portrait picture might be artistic, or it might be clinical, as part of a medical study. Frequently, portraits are commissioned for special occasions, such as weddings or school events. Portraits can serve many purposes, from usage on a personal Web site to display in the lobby of a business.

Portrait photography, according to Wikipedia

I can not agree more with the definition given by Wikipedia, and in fact, I have a similar personal description, which you can read in this article about family photography. To make things easier, I will quote myself:

In my opinion, family photography is not only essential to serve as documenting and preserving the likenesses of the members, but also to remind how important we are for each other. Displaying your family portraits prominently in your house is a great tool to transmit and maintain the value of family connection, which from thousands of years is still the core of our society.

Quote from my article, Family Photography | Portrait Photographer in Tokyo

I sincerely believe that the above statements apply to all portraits, be it adult portraits, kids portraits, or pet portraits. Yes, I do pet photography in my home studio too.

Even though I am a professional portrait photographer, I do not have many professional adult portraits. It’s missing the time, or I am being caught up creating and editing adult portraits for other people. As a promise to my wife and myself, we plan to have at least one professional portrait shoot, every year.

Having your adult portraits taken every year will make an excellent timeline over time to show it off to your family and friends.

Creating adult portraits as a Tokyo based professional portrait photographer is an honor and one of my greatest pleasures. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet new people and find out new stories. This fact alone inspired me over time to create stunning images of people in outdoor settings. Since I live in Japan, places like the fantastic and crowded Shibuya, Asakusa with its magnificent Senso-Ji Buddhist temple, Minato Mirai(which was my home for one month), are all places I call home.

Are you looking for hiring a professional portrait photographer in Tokyo-Japan? I would be delighted to create unique adult portraits for you anywhere in The Greater Tokyo area or beyond, around Fuji Mountain, Kyoto, or Osaka.
